YOUR WORK, AND HOW IT’S HANDLED

Data & privacy.

Flied keeps your tying workspace on your computer. Optional connected services handle only the parts that need to go online.

Development overview · Updated October 16, 2026

Flied’s public commercial release, purchasing, and marketplace connections are still being prepared. This overview describes the current design; final purchase and desktop license terms will be supplied before sales open. The website is operated by Ian Pribanic; public support is [email protected].

1. Your local workspace

Patterns, photos, materials, tasks, tying jobs, finished inventory, kits, and locally imported order records are stored in the Flied workspace on your Windows computer. Keep your own backups. Optional marketplace connections use a hosted service to authorize shops and receive orders; those connected records are not exclusively local.

2. This website

This product website does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or signup forms. Website assets are served from this service. Cloudflare provides DNS, HTTPS delivery, and proxy services and may process connection information to deliver and protect the website. Checkout, when enabled, opens on Lemon Squeezy’s website. Hosting infrastructure may process technical connection information, such as IP addresses, timestamps, and requested pages, to deliver and operate the service.

3. Etsy and Shopify connections

When connections become available, a seller will authorize their shop through the marketplace’s consent process. The hosted Flied connection service stores encrypted marketplace access credentials, workspace authentication records, and imported order snapshots to support syncing.

Imported order information can include order references, item names, quantities, variations, SKUs, personalization, totals, currency, dates, payment and fulfillment states, and order or gift messages. The importer excludes buyer names, buyer email fields, and shipping address fields. Free-text messages and personalization can still contain information entered by a buyer.

The connection is read-only for marketplace listings, inventory, payments, and fulfillment. Flied production progress is tracked separately. Public connections depend on platform approval and configuration and are not open yet.

4. Disconnecting a shop

Disconnecting removes the shop’s saved access credentials and stops future syncing for that connection. Previously imported orders remain in the workspace and connection service; disconnecting is not the same as deleting imported records. Full deletion is not currently offered as a self-service website action.

5. Gill’s optional cloud help

Local app guidance does not require a cloud AI request. Cloud assistance is optional, requires service setup, and is enabled with your consent. When used, your question and a limited, relevant selection of workspace context are sent through the Flied service to OpenAI to generate a response.

Gill’s cloud context excludes photos, buyer identity fields, credentials, and free-form order notes. Avoid typing information you do not want sent in your own question. Cloud processing is subject to the service provider’s applicable data handling terms. Gill’s responses should be reviewed before you rely on them or carry out changes.

6. Payments and licenses

Lemon Squeezy is the planned payment and digital-delivery provider for Flied’s $11.99 USD monthly and $99.99 USD yearly subscriptions. When sales are enabled, choosing a plan sends you to a hosted Lemon Squeezy checkout. Your billing and payment information is processed there, rather than in a Flied website form. Lemon Squeezy may process your email, billing details, payment information, orders, and subscription records under its own privacy policy. Keep license keys private. Visiting a checkout or return page does not itself grant paid access. Sales are not open yet. Checkout and secure downloads are being prepared with Lemon Squeezy.
